Ultra Choice 8 Description
UltraChoice 8 is an 8-way vaccine with an exclusive, water-soluble adjuvant caleld Stimugen. It prevents diseases associated with enteritis and enterotoxemia caused by Clostridium perfringens types D, C, and B; gas gangrene caused by Clostridium sordellii; black disease caused by Clostridium novyi; bacillary hemoglobinuria caused by Clostridium haemolyticum; malignant edema caused by Clostridium septicum; and blackleg caused by Clostridium chauvoei.

What does Ultra Choice 8 do?
This vaccine contains killed, standardized cultures of Clostridium septicum; Clostridium perfringens types D, C, and B; Clostridium sordellii; Clostridium chauvoei; and Clostridium novyi.
Ultra Choice 8 side effects
- The most frequently reported side effect is injection site swelling. This is temporary and should resolve without intervention.
- Anaphylaxis may also occur. Epinephrine and follow-up therapy are indicated in these cases.

This product consists of killed, standardized cultures of Clostridium chauvoei, Cl. septicum, Cl. haemolyticum, Cl. novyi, Cl. sordellii, and Cl. perfringens types C and D, with a special, water-soluble adjuvant (Stimugen™).

Overview
Give 2 ml SQ, then booster in 4-6 weeks. Repeat dose every 6 months for Redwater for animals subject to re-exposure. Annual booster is recommended.
