This product is excellent for the removal and management of fleas, flea eggs, ticks, and lice. It can inhibit the hatching of flea eggs for up to 4 weeks. Washes and gets rid of odors.

This product contains an insect growth regulator (IGR) that works to exterminate fleas, flea eggs, and larvae. In order for these compounds to take effect, this shampoo should be left in for the noted duration of time.

Not to be administered to young dogs or cats less than 12 weeks old. Be sure to ask your veterinarian before administering this product to weak, old, pregnant or nursing pets, or if your pet is currently on another kind of medication.

Tips for using Adams Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo with Insect Growth Regulator, 12 oz
It is advised that further education on the management can be found in the article, “Understanding Fleas,” or by further researching the flea life cycle.
Overview
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Wet dog or cat with warm water and apply a small amount of shampoo along the back of the animal.
Work well into coat, starting at head and working back. Include legs and feet.
When lather is desired consistency, continue to work into coat for 10 minutes to kill fleas.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry. When washing cats, kittens or puppies, dry with cloth immediately after rinsing to prevent chilling.
Do not use on puppies or kittens under 12 weeks of age.
Do not reapply product for one week.
