TruCan B (Oral) (formerly Bronchi-Shield Oral) is a vaccination intended only for oral use. It is intended for use in puppies and healthy doges over the age of 8 weeks to help prevent disease from canine parainfluenza virus, canine adenovirus type 2, and Bordetella bronchiseptica.
This vaccine contains Avirulent Live Culture and a Modified Live Virus.
This is a Type 2-Parainfluenza-Bordetella Bronchiseptica Vaccine and Canine Adenovirus. *Due to state regulations Allivet can't ship this item to the following states GA, IA, or MN.
What is TruCan B (Oral)?
TruCan B (Oral) is for the vaccination of healthy dogs and puppies eight weeks of age or older as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by Bordetella Bronchiseptica (Kennel Cough). It’s easy to administer for mucosal absorption and has been proven effective.

What does TruCan B (Oral) do?
TruCan B (Oral) contains the Avirulent live vaccine. It is administered either through the mouth or nose so it can make its way to the back of the throat for immunological processing.
TruCan B (Oral) side effects
Using any product that is biological could lead to inflammatory immune-mediated hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylaxis.
The antidote for this reaction is antihistamines, corticosteroids, or Epinephrine, depending on the severity and nature of the animal’s reaction.

What to know before using TruCan B (Oral)
Only administer vaccinations to dogs that do not have parasites and are healthy. Never vaccinate a dog that is pregnant

Overview
- Rehydrate with the accompanying sterile diluent. Shake well and draw back into the syringe the required amount.
- Insert the syringe in the buccal cavity of the dog's mouth.
- Instill 1mL of vaccine on oral mucosal surfaces.
- Annual revaccination with one dose is recommended.
